On Saturday I enjoyed a visit to a Celtic festival in Asheville, North Carolina where I found lots of great fun, food and music! First the food: haggis, which I have eaten a couple times in Scotland and I actually like it, shepherds pie-it was wonderful. But my favorite was the barbecue that had been cooked over a peat fire-delicious!!!

Then there was the music! Lots of great Celtic bands performed but my favorite was Albannach, a great Scottish band. If you enjoy Celtic music then you must hear them. Go to their web address for a tour schedule.  Albannach
